Krzciok Named MAC Player of the Week

MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – Central Michigan baseball player Brady Krzciok was named the Mid-American Conference Player of the Week on Monday.
Krzciok, a junior first baseman from Clarkston, hit .529 (9 for 17) with a 1.000 slugging percentage in leading the Chippewas to a 2-2 week, including a MAC series victory over Eastern Michigan.
Krzciok had five doubles and a home run among his nine hits and collected two walks for a .579 on-base percentage. He had multiple hits in all four games on the week.
Among Krzciok's highlights was a home run at Michigan, an RBI double that put the Chippewas ahead for good in their 11-9 series-opening win over Eastern Michigan, and a single leading off the Chippewas' three-run eighth inning that gave them a 7-6 win in the series finale over the Eagles.
