18 Softball Players Earn Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar Athlete Accolades

Central Michigan Softball posted the 25th best team GPA in the country as well as having 18 student-athletes earn the honor.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Team 47 posted the highest team GPA in the Mid-American Conference with a 3.67 which ranked them 25th among all NCAA I teams for the 2025 season, and 18 student-athletes earned Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar Athletes.

To obtain the honor, student-athletes must hold a 3.5 GPA or higher for the 2025 season.
Samantha Souva, Maddie Springer and Madelyn Wallace earned the honor four the fourth consecutive year, while Cierra Laska and Paige Sayler earned the recognition for the third time in their three years with CMU Softball.
Rachel Cairo, Grace Koenig, Allyssa Hollo, Carly Sleeman and Keira Tolmie are also repeat winners for the Chippewas.
