Yoshino Named Second Team Indoor All-MAC

CLEVELAND — Junior pole vaulter Emily Yoshino has earned 2025 Mid-American Conference Indoor Track and Field Second Team All-MAC honors, the league announced Monday afternoon.
Yoshino concluded her indoor season with a second place finish at the MAC Championships, hosted by Central Michigan with a 3.85m (12' 7.5) mark to tie her career best, and the seventh best vault by an Individual Chippewa.
Through the 2025-26 indoor season, Yoshino competed in four seven meets throughout the indoor season; her best attempt prior to the championships came from the 2026 Jack Skoog Open, where she took first overall with a 3.76m (12' 4) vault.
Yoshino ended the indoor season with the sixth best vault (3.85m) in the conference and the 21st best in the Great Lakes Region.
CMU is set to move forward in competition with the 2026 outdoor season, which begins on March 27 at NC State's Raleigh Relays and Miami's Hurricane Collegiate Invitational.
