Six Chippewa Runners named to Track and Field/Cross Country CSC Academic All-District

Gibbins, Kate Jenkins, McLean, Munderloh, Nielsen and Yoshino named to College Sports Communicators' Academic All-District team
GREENWOOD, Ind. — Six Central Michigan runners have been named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Track and Field/Cross Country Team, announced today.
The six are Jessie Gibbins, Kate Jenkins, Emily McLean, Libby Munderloh, Riley Nielsen, Emily Yoshino.
In order to earn the honor, a student-athlete must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or better and have appeared in a requisite number of her team's scheduled competitions.
The six student-athletes, their year, hometown, major and grade point average:
Jessie Gibbins, Sr., Biology Major: Ecol, Evol, & Cons Concentration, 3.96
Kate Jenkins, Sr., Marketing - General, 3.69
Emily McLean, Gr., Master of Education, 4
Libby Munderloh, Sr., Master of Education, 4
Riley Nielsen, Jr., Teaching Grades PK-6, 3.66
Emily Yoshino, Jr., Marketing - General, 3.68
