McLean Named Second Team Outdoor All-MAC

CLEVELAND — Senior thrower Emily McLean has earned 2026 Mid-American Conference Outdoor Track and Field Second Team All-MAC honors, the league announced Thursday afternoon.
McLean concluded her Chippewa career with a second place finish at the MAC Championships, hosted by Ball State with a 15.07m (49' 5.5") mark to set a career best, and the fourth best attempt by a Chippewa in program history.
In the 2026 outdoor season, McLean competed in six meets throughout the outdoor season; her best attempt prior to the championships came from the Hillsdale College GINA Relays, where she took second overall with a 14.47m (47' 5.75") attempt.
McLean ended the outdoor season with the second best shot put (15.07m) in the conference and the 17th best in the Great Lakes Region.
