Baseball Unveils Promotional Slate

MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich – Central Michigan has announced its promotional schedule for the remainder of the 2026 home baseball season at Theunissen Stadium, presented by Soaring Eagle Casino and Resort. Fans can look forward to an exciting lineup of themed games, giveaways, and interactive experiences promising a fun, family-friendly atmosphere all season long!
Season-Long Promotions
Senior Trading Cards
Visit Fan Central during each game of a series to collect exclusive senior trading cards:
Note: Trading cards for #6 Nate Ross, #7 Isaiah Velazco, and #8 Zach Knowlton have already been distributed.
Mini Strikeout Baseballs
When a Central Michigan pitcher records a strikeout, mini CMU baseballs will be tossed into the crowd.
Home Run T-Shirts
Following Central Michigan home runs, t-shirts will be tossed to the loudest fans.
Fifth-Inning Franks
Hot dogs will be tossed into the stands during the fifth inning.
Foul Ball Return Punch Cards
Kids who return three foul balls to Fan Central will receive a voucher for a free kids' meal courtesy of Buffalo Wild Wings.
Sunday Runday
Kids ages 12 and under are invited to run the bases at Keilitz Field following each Sunday game.
Kids' Zone
Each game features a Kids' Zone on the concourse with a coloring station. On weekends (and select Fridays), kids can enjoy a bounce house, yard games, and chalk (weather permitting).
Trivia Tuesdays
Every Tuesday, fans can scan a QR code at Fan Central to participate in trivia; winners will be announced throughout the game.
Baseball Bingo
Every Wednesday, fans can stop by Fan Central to grab a Baseball Bingo card. The first ten fans to return with a winning card will receive a prize.
Student Punch Card
CMU students who check into at least ten baseball games via the Maroon & Gold Rewards Program will be entered into a drawing to win a prize at the end of the home slate.

Throwback Thursday – Thursday, April 2 @ 3 p.m. vs. Western Michigan
Take a trip back in time with music from the '80s, '90s, and 2000s throughout the game. Fans can also pick up right-handed pitcher #4 Carter Campau's trading card at Fan Central.
Tigers Takeover – Friday, April 3 @ 3 p.m. vs. Western Michigan
Not heading to Detroit for the Tigers' home opener? Come out to Theunissen Stadium and rep your navy blue and orange for Tigers Takeover! Stop by Fan Central to grab catcher/outfielder #7 Isaiah Velazco's trading card and submit your Final Four score predictions—the fan with the closest prediction will be contacted and win a prize!
Easter Egg-stravaganza – Saturday, April 4 @ 1 p.m. vs. Western Michigan
The Easter Bunny is hopping over to Theunissen Stadium! Fans will have the opportunity to take photos with the Easter Bunny on the concourse, and kids are invited onto Keilitz Field for a post-game egg hunt! Outfielder #14 Rees Campanale trading cards will be available at Fan Central.

Baseball Bingo / Jackie Robinson Day – Wednesday, April 15 @ 1 p.m. (DH) vs. Youngstown State
Every Wednesday, fans can participate in Baseball Bingo! Pick up a bingo card at Fan Central upon entry, then play along during the game. The first ten winners to report to Fan Central will receive a prize pack! In celebration of Jackie Robinson Day, fans can also snag a themed "K" card.
Canines at Keilitz Series vs. Ohio
Bring your pups out to Keilitz Field at Theunissen Stadium for a special series of fun events for your furry friend and families! The "Pup Stop" station will be available on the concourse all series long, featuring pup cups, dog bones, and waste bags. Visit Fan Central to grab Canines at Keilitz "K" cards and stickers, while supplies last!
Canine Costume Contest – Friday, April 17 @ 3 p.m. vs. Ohio
Fans are encouraged to bring their dogs in costume! The winner, determined by a social media poll, will take home a prize! Plus, snag catcher #17 Spencer Verburg's trading card at Fan Central.
Corgi Races – Saturday, April 18 @ 1 p.m. vs. Ohio
The Michigan Corgi Club is coming to town! Arrive early to watch a pre-game warm-up race, and stick around after the game for more corgi racing action! This is one special event you won't want to miss! The day's senior trading card features right-handed pitcher #18 Hayden Bailey. A Kona Ice food truck will also be on site.
Dog Toy Giveaway – Sunday, April 19 @ 1 p.m. vs. Ohio

CMU staff and faculty can receive discounted tickets by presenting a valid CMU ID at the ticket window. Central Michigan Baseball will also honor the staff and faculty who have made an impact on their lives in a pre-game recognition. Giveaways include infielder #25 Brady Krzciok's trading card and Chippewa Baseball keychains!
Heroes Day – Saturday, May 2 @ 1 p.m. vs. Northern Illinois
Veterans, active military members, and first responders will receive discounted tickets with the presentation of a valid ID at the ticket window. Head to Fan Central for a camo Action C can koozie and infielder #30 Greg Guzik II trading card. There will also be a guest first pitch.
Little League Day – Sunday, May 3 @ 1 p.m. vs. Northern Illinois
Little Leaguers are invited to take part in a pre-game parade on Keilitz Field! Parents and/or coaches of all participants should fill out THIS form to RSVP for the event. Following the game, kids ages 12 and under can take the field to run the bases in Sunday Runday fashion, and the CMU baseball team will be available for autographs! Kids can also pick up a free Chippewas Baseball drawstring bag and an 18x24 CMU Athletics coloring poster at Fan Central, along with left-handed pitcher #37 Evan Waters's trading card. Little Leaguers and their coaches/parents/guardians will receive discounted tickets; participants must wear their team jersey or shirt.

Tuesdays are for trivia at Theunissen Stadium! Fans are encouraged to scan the QR code at Fan Central to answer a series of trivia questions; top performers will be announced during the game and win a prize! "K" cards will also be available.
Homegrown Series vs. Akron
The final home series of the season celebrates homegrown tradition in honoring the past and present of CMU Baseball.
Backyard BBQ / SCIT Tribal Drum Ceremony – Friday, May 8 @ 3 p.m. vs. Akron
Bring the whole family to the ballpark and enjoy a backyard BBQ atmosphere, with a barbecue food truck and yard games! Giveaways include a 20 oz. frosted stadium cup and left-handed pitcher #39 Kenny Keller's trading card. Fans can also enter a free raffle for grilling supplies at Fan Central. Be sure to arrive early for a special pre-game tribal drum ceremony and first pitch by members of the Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe!
Alumni Day – Saturday, May 9 @ 2 p.m. vs. Akron
Calling all Central Michigan Baseball alumni! Join us as we honor those who have left their legacies on the program in a pre-game recognition. Fan Central is your stop for Chippewa Baseball wrist lanyards and two senior trading cards: left-handed pitcher #40 Jack Potteiger, and right-handed pitcher #43 Tyson Potts.
Senior Day – Sunday, May 10 @ 1 p.m. vs. Akron
Sixteen members of the CMU Baseball program will be recognized in a pre-game ceremony. Grab a pompom from Fan Central and help us celebrate our seniors ahead of the series finale! The final senior trading card of the season features outfielder #44 Cole Prout.
Prostate Cancer Awareness / Trivia Tuesday – Tuesday, May 12 @ 3 p.m. vs. Valparaiso
In addition to being the final Trivia Tuesday of the season, CMU partners with MyMichigan Health to promote prostate cancer awareness. Scan the QR code at Fan Central to participate in trivia and pick up a prostate cancer awareness ribbon sticker to wear during the game. Players will wear light blue wristbands in support of the cause.
