Chippewas' Shrader Seeded No. 1 at 157 for MAC Wrestling Championships

MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – Central Michigan's Mason Shrader is seeded No. 1 at 157 pounds for the Mid-American Conference Wrestling Championships which are scheduled for Friday and Saturday, March 6-7, at Alumni Arena in Buffalo, N.Y.
Shrader is the only Chippewa who is seeded No. 1. The Chippewas' Bryan Caves is seeded No. 2 at 285 pounds, while two other CMU wrestlers, Archer Anderson (125) and Chandler Amaker (165), are seeded fourth.
CMU's Luke Cochran is the No. 5 seed at 197 pounds, Wyatt Ferguson is seventh at 184, and Andrew Austin (133) and Nick Blackburn (141) are both seeded eighth.
CMU's Cody Brenner (174) is unseeded.
Eight wrestlers are seeded in each of the 10 weight classes. Each weight classes comprises 12 wrestlers, one from each of the conference's teams.
