Regitz repeats as All-MAC second team, Bradley selected All-Freshman
CLEVELAND — Junior Ava Regitz (Marietta, Ga. / Blessed Trinity) and freshman Mia Bradley (Orchard Park, N.Y. / Orchard Park) of Central Michigan Lacrosse were named all-league second team and all-freshman, respectively, by the Mid-American Conference on Wednesday afternoon.
Â
Regitz repeated second-team laurels as she posted a second season of 20-plus caused turnovers (22). She tied the program's single-game mark of six takeaways at Youngstown State (April 11) and stands third in the career listing (65), first on a per-game basis (1.33).
Â
The Chippewas' defensive anchor also led the way with 57 draw controls on the season and led all field players with 27 ground balls.
Â
Bradley maintains CMU's presence on the MAC freshman squad for the third straight year. Regitz and Natalie DiSanto (Waterloo, N.Y. / Waterloo) were selected in 2024, Caye Kalbacher (Austin, Texas / Stephen F. Austin) and Teagan Braman (Haddonfield, N.J. / Memorial).
Â
The standout rookie attacker led the Chippewas with 34 points, 18 assists on the season and was one of five players with double-digit goals on the season. She logged eight games with three-plus points, including two hat tricks (at Lindenwood, at Kent State).
Â
Central Michigan Lacrosse finished 4-12 overall, 3-4 in conference in 2026 under interim coach Katie Vahle. The Chippewas tied for fourth in the MAC standings at season's end—the 8-7 overtime loss to Robert Morris (March 14) stood as the tiebreaker for the conference tournament.
