Single-Game Tickets on Sale for Motor City MACtion Game at Ford Field (Nov. 4)

Central Michigan and Eastern Michigan will play at Ford Field on Wednesday, Nov. 4.
DETROIT, Mich.—Single-game tickets are now on sale for Motor City MACtion, as Central Michigan football will play Eastern Michigan on Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2026 at Ford Field. Fans can purchase tickets through Ticketmaster at this link or by calling the Ford Field Ticket Office at (313) 262-2008.
The matchup brings one of the MAC's most established rivalries to downtown Detroit and gives Chippewas fans another major game day experience inside one of the Midwest's premier venues. The 2026 meeting marks the first of two scheduled games at Ford Field, with Eastern Michigan serving as the home team in 2026 and Central Michigan in 2027.
Ticket inventory for Motor City MACtion includes several seating options designed to fit every fan and budget.
Field Level Seats in West End Zone Sections 135-140 and Dream Seats at the top of Sections 100 and 141 are $120 each and include $20 in Lions Loot credits. These premium seats offer enhanced comfort for a top-tier game-day experience.
Reserved seating is available in the following areas: CMU reserved seating is set at $40 for sections 126, 127, and 128, and at $30 for sections 125, 129, 130, and 131. CMU students will be seated in section 124. EMU reserved seats are in sections 105, 106, and 107 for $40, and in sections 104, 108, 109, and 110 for $30. General admission tickets are available in both end zones for $20. Student ticket information and other gameday events will be announced closer to the start of the fall semester.
Central Michigan has enjoyed a rich tradition at Ford Field. The venue serves as Central Michigan's "Home Away From Home" as the Chippewas played their 11th all-time game in the stadium against Northwestern in the 2025 GameAbove Sports Bowl on December 26 before a crowd of nearly 28,000. Those games at Ford Field include six bowl contests, four MAC Championship games, and one regular season matchup.
The two most attended bowl games in Detroit history were contests that featured Central Michigan: the 2006 Motor City Bowl versus Middle Tennessee and the 2007 Motor City Bowl against Purdue. In Central Michigan's 11 appearances at Ford Field, the Chippewas have averaged 32,962 fans per game.
The football series between Central Michigan and Eastern Michigan is the longest running in the MAC at 103 games. It also is the second-longest running series within the state of Michigan, trailing only the Michigan-Michigan State one, which has been played 118 times. Central Michigan holds a 65-32-6 record versus the Eagles dating back to the first game in the series on Nov. 1, 1902.
Central Michigan opens its 2026 season at New Mexico on Saturday, Sept. 5.
