2026 Soccer Promotional Schedule Announced

Senior Day vs. arch-rival Western Michigan (Oct. 18)
MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. — The promotional schedule for the 2026 Central Michigan Soccer season is here!
All season long, there will be mini CMU Soccer ball tosses from players during introductions, postgame penalty kicks on the field for kids ages 12 and under, and all Sunday games will feature a Kids Zone with a bounce house, coloring station and yard games. 2026 CMU Soccer schedule posters will also be available at all home matches while supplies last.
FREE KIDS CLINIC: Prior to this Saturday's (Aug. 1) Maroon & White Scrimmage, children eighth grade and younger are invited for an on-field, free clinic, beginning at 9am at the CMU Soccer Complex. To register, visit the form HERE.

HOME OPENER – Purdue Fort Wayne (Aug. 27)
Celebrate the beginning of the CMU Soccer home schedule with the first Kids Zone appearance of the season. Fans in attendance will receive maroon and gold pompoms and CMU Soccer stickers while supplies last.
WELCOME BACK WHITE OUT – Cincinnati (Sept. 3)
Students must come quick as the first 100 receive a free white t-shirt to help support the Chippewas for Cincinnati's first visit to the CMU Soccer Complex since Central Michigan's 2-1 victory in 2024. All fans are encouraged to wear white and will receive white pompoms while supplies last.
YOUTH DAY – Wisconsin (Sept. 6)
Bring the kids for the first home Sunday of the season and receive CMU Soccer drawstring bags while supplies last and meet the Chippewas after the match for an autograph session with the 2026 CMU Soccer schedule posters. The Labor Day Weekend battle with the Badgers will be the first of three Sunday matches featuring the Kids' Zone.
TRIBAL CELEBRATION – Buffalo (Sept. 17)
As Central Michigan opens Mid-American Conference play with the Bulls, CMU will take the opportunity to celebrate its connection with the Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe.
MAROON OUT – Bowling Green (Sept. 26)
CMU will host a Saturday match for the first time since 2017, just the second in program history, so fans bring your maroon gear and all your weekend energy in support against the Falcons. Fans will receive maroon pompoms upon entry to the CMU Soccer Complex while supplies last.
ALUMNI DAY/MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS GAME – Miami (OH) (Oct. 4)
The Mid-American Conference will be recognizing Mental Health Week Oct. 4-10; CMU Athletics will be joining the efforts through home events during the week. At the CMU Soccer Complex, fans will receive mental health awareness ribbon stickers and other items upon arrival while supplies last.
The Chippewas will also take the Homecoming weekend as an opportunity to welcome back all of the program's alumni, featuring a halftime recognition of those in attendance. Alumni on campus at any point during Homecoming weekend, let us know you're coming HERE.
FACULTY/STAFF APPRECIATION NIGHT – Akron (Oct. 15)
Meet those making a difference in the lives of the Chippewas as CMU players invite University staff and faculty to be recognized in the match against the Zips. Selected staff and faculty will receive a CMU Soccer trading card as part of the recognition of their service to the program and its student-athletes.
SENIOR DAY/PINK GAME/BEAT WESTERN WEEKEND – Western Michigan (Oct. 18)
The Chippewas will celebrate the contributions and careers of eight seniors before they take on the arch-rival Broncos: Grace Baczek, Jordan Bailey, Olivia Bretz, Caitlin Gill, Rachel Jackson, Jadia Kershaw, Madison Slezinski, and Melaina Troy.
The contest will also be the Pink Game in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month and falls on a Sunday, offering another round in the Kids' Zone. Fans will be asked to break out their pink gear for breast cancer awareness. Fans will receive pink pompoms and breast cancer awareness ribbon stickers while supplies last.
Central Michigan hosts Western all weekend as football battles the Broncos the day prior. As part of Beat Western Weekend, fans will receive "Beat Western" stickers and temporary tattoos.
COMMUNITY NIGHT/GHOULS & GOALS – Ball State (Oct. 29)
As is tradition, the regular season finale falls on the week of Halloween and CMU Athletics will celebrate with Halloween-themed home events throughout the week that feature themed items and candy for those in attendance.
