Four Central Michigan Football Coaches Shows Scheduled to Air Live From Soaring Eagle Casino

Weekly coaches show is scheduled to broadcast four times live from Ascend Sports Bar & Lounge at Soaring Eagle Casino (Sept. 3 and 17, Oct. 1 and 15) and air eight times virtually on CMU Football social media channels and on www.cmuchippewas.com.
MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich.—Fans will get an inside look at the Central Michigan football program each week as CMU Athletics and the CMU Chippewas Sports Network announce the return of the weekly Central Michigan Football Coaches Show, presented by Fabiano Brothers.
This year, four shows will originate live from the Ascend Sports Bar & Lounge at Soaring Eagle Casino (located at the back of the main floor). Those dates include Thursday, Sept. 3 before the 2026 season opener at New Mexico, Thursday, Sept. 17 before the Wyoming game, Thursday, Oct. 1 before the Homecoming Game vs. Akron, and Thursday, Oct. 15 prior to the Western Michigan contest. The first show of the 2026 season is scheduled for 6 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 3 and will feature head coach Matt Drinkall and other guests. Admission is free for all. Fans who are not able to make it out to see the live show can watch or listen live on the CMU Athletics YouTube page, CMU Football Facebook page and CMU Football X page. A recorded version of the show will be posted on www.cmuchippewas.com the day following the broadcast.
In the eight weeks without a live show, CMU Athletics will broadcast a virtual show featuring highlights and interviews with coaches and players. The show will air on the CMU Athletics YouTube page, CMU Football Facebook page and CMU Football X page and will be posted by 6 p.m. on Thursdays. A recorded version of the show will be posted on www.cmuchippewas.com the day following the broadcast.
Hosted by Voice of the Chippewas and CMU Chippewas Sports Network radio color commentator, Adam Jaksa, CMU Head Coach Matt Drinkall breaks down the weekly opponent and reviews the Chippewas' performance in their previous game. Each week, CMU coaches and student-athletes attend as live guests.
