HIGH SCHOOL
Will graduate from Holland Christian High School, where he played two years of varsity football for head coach Dave Abberger … Ranked the No. 3 placekicker in the nation and the No. 1 placekicker in the state of Michigan by Kornblue Kicking … Rated a five-star placekicker … Selected to kick in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl, a national all-star game for top high school football players on Dec. 21 in Frisco, Texas … As a senior, converted 7-8 field goal attempts with a long of 47 yards … Helped the Maroons to a 6-4 overall record and state playoff appearance … Converted 36-38 point after attempts and made three field goals as a junior … Led the Maroons to a 4-5 overall record … Three-sport varsity athlete and previously played soccer for two years … Also plays basketball and baseball … Started on the varsity baseball team as a freshman … Plays middle infield and is the leadoff batter … In basketball, he is the point guard … Owns a 4.07 grade point average … Involved in community service … Involved in his church group, made a trip to Alaska, has done charity work for Alex’s Lemonade Stand which helps fight against childhood cancers … Kicked field goals to help raise $4,000 for charity.
