Cory Hall, who spent the past two seasons coaching cornerbacks at Oregon State, joined coach John Bonamego's Central Michigan football staff as the secondary coach and defensive pass game coordinator in March.
Hall served as Oregon State's interim coach during the final six games of the 2017 season He coached defensive backs at Weber State in 2015 after serving as a graduate assistant at Wisconsin in 2014.
Hall played six seasons in the NFL as a defensive back with the Cincinnati Bengals and Atlanta Falcons. He had six sacks and three interceptions in 87 career games.
Hall played collegiately at Fresno State from 1995-98 and was taken by the Bengals in the third round of the NFL Draft in '99.
Hall earned a bachelor's degree in organizational management from Ashford University. He and his wife Sarah have six children, Cory Jr., Kyland, Jaden, Nya, Iliah and London.
