JMichael Jonard joined the Central Michigan football program as a graduate assistant in 2014. He will work primarily with the offense.
Jonard spent the last three seasons with Northwood University. He was the wide receivers coach for the 2013 season and worked as a graduate assistant in 2011 and 2012.
Jonard played his college ball at Dayton where he was a wide receiver from 2005-09. He finished his career with the sixth-most receptions in program history and also holds the school record for catches in a single season. He led the Flyers to Pioneer Football League titles in 2007 and 2009, and helped the squad win the FCS Mid-Major National Championship in 2007. Jonard earned all-conference honors in 2009 and was named to the league's academic honor roll twice during his career.
Jonard received his undergraduate degree in sport management from Dayton in 2009 and earned his Master's in Business Administration from Northwood in 2013.
