A June 2024 graduate of Charlevoix High School, where he played four years of varsity football for head coach Don Jess … two-time All-State selection … two-time Detroit News Division 7-8 All-State First Team honoree … earned Division 7-8 All-State recognition by the Associated Press as a linebacker … named the Conference Most Valuable Player … two-time team captain for the Rayders … played both linebacker and running back for the Rayders … concluded his career as the school’s all-time leader in tackles … registered a season school record with 150 tackles and scored 11 touchdowns during his senior season … helped lead the Rayders to four consecutive Division 7-8 playoff appearances in his career … earned a total of six varsity letters … also competed in wrestling and track and field … won first individual state wrestling title (215 pounds) … two-time All-State wrestling honoree and two-time state finalist… finished his senior season with a 49-2 overall record and state title … shared the region’s wrestler of the year honor with teammate Brady Jess … two-time team captain in wrestling … competed in the pole vault and hurdles … National Honor Society student … graduated cum laude.
