Samuel Costello was added to Jeremy Groves' staff in August 2021 as an assistant coach.
A recent graduate of Tiffin University (Ohio), Costello was a four-year member of the Dragons' soccer program. He helped Tiffin to two Great Midwest Athletic Conference Tournament championships and to earn bids to the 2018 and 2019 NCAA Division II postseason. Â
A native of Ashington, Northumberland, England, Costello coached East Northumberland Country U12s and the Ashington High School team in 2016. In the U.S., he coached with the West Virginia Chaos Youth (U9-U14) soccer program in the summer of 2018.
Costello earned a Bachelor of Business Degree in sport management from Tiffin. During his time there, he worked with campus event services.
