2025 (Indoor): Competed in seven meets, ran the 200, 400 and 4x400 … set a season best of 26.96 in the 200 at the Bob Parks Memorial (Jan. 25) … set a season best of 58.49 in the 400 at the GVSU Big Meet (Feb. 15)
2024 (Outdoor): Competed in one meet … rand the 400 in 59.92 at the Chippewa Challenge (April 13)
2024 (Indoor): Competed in six meets, ram the 200, 400, 4x400, and Distance Medley Relay … finished the 200 in 27.3 at the Jack Skoog Open (Jan. 20) … set a season best of 59:39 in the 400 at the SVSU Jet’s Pizza Invitational (Jan. 26-27) … won the 4x400 at the Silverston Invitational (Feb. 16)
High School: Personal Records: 100m (13.91), 200m (26.87), 400m (60.62) … individually qualified for state championships in 2023 … qualified for regionals in 2022 and 2023 … earned all-conference accolades in 2022 … was also a part of Belleville High School’s dance team.
Personal: Daughter of Brandi and Robert Watts … has three younger siblings, younger brothers Braylon and Bryce and younger sister Amber … intends to pursue news broadcasting … loves baking and teaching dance … Fun fact: “My favorite professional athlete to watch is probably Sydney McLaughlin. She was one of the first people I watched when I started track and has inspired me ever since.”
Why CMU?: “I decided to attend CMU because of the amount of people in news that started here! I love working on film and was involved with yearbook and media in high school. CMU was the best place for me to continue that interest!”
