2015-16: Compiled a 15-10 record exclusively in open tournament competition … pinned four opponents … opened the season with a 16-0 tech fall win over Edinboro’s Arick Shakles at the Eastern Michigan Open (11/7) … went 3-2 at the Cleveland State Open (12/12), including a win by fall and 18-1 tech fall victory, placing fourth at 125 lbs. … posted a 3-2 record at the Southern Scuffle (1/1-1/2), including a win by fall and victory by major decision … placed sixth at the Alma Open (1/23), wrestling at 133 lbs.

2014-15: Went 15-8 overall ... was 1-0 in the MAC ... led the Chippewas in pins with six ... had a 7-0 decision against Ohio (1/10/15) ... had a 10-5 victory against NIU (12/20/14) ... went 2-2 at the Michigan State Open.

High School: Became Jonesville's first individual state champion in 40 years when he won the 130-pound Division IV title in the 2014 Michigan High School Athletic Association finals. Was a four-time state medalist, and finished his prep career 170-18 including a 47-1 slate as a senior.
