2020-21: Repeated as an All-American, placing fourth at NCAA Championships … finished 14-2 on the season with both losses coming at NCAA Championships, including an 11-0 major decision to eventual champion Spencer Lee of Iowa, who captured the Hodge Trophy as the nation’s best collegiate wrestler … earned team Charles ‘Chick’ Sherwood Most Valuable Wrestler Award … went 4-2 in NCAA Championships, opening with three straight victories: 3-0 over Zurich Storm of Campbell; 2-1 over Liam Cronin of Nebraska; and 4-2 SV-1 over Brody Teske of Northern Iowa … after loss to Lee, came back to defeat Sam Latona of Virginia Tech, 5-4; then fell to Patrick McKee of Minnesota, 5-3, in the third place match … has an 83-33 career record … went 3-0 at the conference tournament to repeat as Mid-American Conference champion … named a Scholar All-American by the National Wrestling Coaches Association … earned Academic All-MAC honors for the fourth-consecutive year.
