A third-team Williamson All-America selection in 1955... became the second CMU player to rush for 1,000 yards in a season when he picked up 1,044 in 1955... named the CMU MVP, the Interstate Intercollegiate Athletic Conference MVP and first-team All-IIAC in 1955... averaged 116.0 yards per game - a school record for 12 years... matched a school-record 18 touchdowns in 1955 and ranked second on the single-season scoring list... rushed for a personal-best 213 yards against Eastern Illinois in 1955... a native of Zeeland, Mich., who attended Zeeland High School.
