Field Hockey 2026 Schedule Announced

Five straight on the road to begin season, Michigan to travel to Mount Pleasant, home and home series with Saint Louis
MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. — The 2026 schedule for Central Michigan Field Hockey was announced Friday. It features a visit from Michigan on Sept. 20 for the Chippewas' third home game of the season, along with a home-and-home series with Saint Louis.
Competition in Mount Pleasant begins with a two-game homestand against Mercyhurst on Sept. 11 and Saint Louis on Sept. 13 before Mid-American Conference play starts with visits from Ball State on Sept. 25 and Massachusetts on Sept. 27. The remainder of the home MAC schedule includes Longwood on Oct. 9, Bellarmine on Oct. 23, and regular-season closer Miami (OH) on Oct. 30.
The Chippewas will begin their season with a trip to California, where they will take on UC Davis on Aug. 28, California on Aug. 30, and Stanford on Aug. 31. The non-conference road schedule will then continue with a trip to Bloomington, Ind., for a neutral site contest with New Hampshire on Sept. 6 and a date with Indiana on Sept. 7. Central Michigan will close its non-conference schedule at Saint Louis in the second game of the home-and-home series on Oct. 4.
Central Michigan's schedule is rounded out with four road MAC games against Kent State on Sept. 18, Ohio on Oct. 2, Appalachian State on Oct. 16, and James Madison on Oct. 18.
