One of the finest tailbacks in the history of Central Michigan and the Mid-American Conference... played five seasons in the NFL after being drafted by the San Diego Chargers... a second-team All-America selection by the UPI... voted MAC Offensive Player of the Year in 1982... chosen for the All-MAC first team three straight years... rushed for a career-record 4,126 yards, ranking third in the MAC... scored a MAC-record 44 career touchdowns... ran for more than 1,000 yards in each of his final three seasons (1,090; 1,431; 1,204)... rushed for 238 yards in a 1982 game against Ohio... a product of Muskegon Orchard View High School.
