Started every varsity basketball game in his four years at CMU, walking off the floor a winner in 71 of 102 contests ... set 24 records in his senior season and was twice named MVP and team captain ... established single season (556) and career (1,400) scoring records and is still fourth-leading rebounder of all-time (919) despite being just 6-foot-1 ... nicknamed "Animal" for his aggressive but clean play ... led CMU to two IIAC championships and two post-season tournaments ... product of Kelloggsville High in Grand Rapids.
