The Chippewas look to strengthen their footing as the fourth seed in the upcoming MAC tournament, Toledo seeking to clinch its berth
MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. — Central Michigan Women's Basketball travels to Savage Arena to battle Toledo Wednesday night (Feb. 25, 7 p.m. ET). The Chippewas have already punched their ticket to the 2026 Mid-American Conference tournament, currently fourth in the league standings at 10-5; Toledo sits sixth in the MAC at 8-6, still seeking to clinch.
Central Michigan finishes the regular season with three straight squads on the tournament bubble between sixth-place Toledo, seventh-place Kent State (7-7 MAC; Feb. 28, 1 p.m. ET) and eighth-place Bowling Green (7-8 MAC; March 4, 6:30 p.m. ET).
