Highly-talented track and field performer who led Central Michigan in scoring four straight season from 1964-67 ... one of the top throwers in Chippewa history ... scored more points in Interstate Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (IIAC) history than any other athlete except CMU Hall of Famer Jim Podoley and Olympic standout Hayes Jones of Eastern Michigan ... won the Olds Trophy as the IIAC MVP for three of four years he competed outdoors, winning nine conference titles in the discus, shot and javelin ... set school and conference records in all three events.
