'89 team was national runner-up ... was an assistant athletic director and the senior women's administrator at ONU from 1987-91 ... prepped at Hillsdale High ... the Sheila Wallace Kovalchik Scholar-Athlete Award is presented annually by the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) to the top female senior scholar-athlete.
