Women's Soccer Beats Marshall In Overtime

HUNTINGTON, W.Va.--The Central Michigan University women's soccer team (5-8 overall, 3-3 Mid-American Conference) posted a 2-1 overtime win over Marshall University on Friday night.
Allison Campbell (Livonia/Jr.) broke a 1-1 tie with a goal at the 99:38 mark to give the Chippewas the victory.
The match opened with a goal by Anne Fedrigo (Livonia/Jr.) at 26:01. Marshall countered with a goal by Amanda McMahon late in the second half to tie the game at 1-1.
CMU goalie Beth Quiney (Milford/Jr.) made four saves while giving up one goal.
The Chippewas complete the weekend road trip with a match at Ohio University on Sunday at 1 p.m.
