Chippewas Fall To HOFSTRA

Lexington, KY - The Central Michigan University volleyball team (3-5 overall, 0-0 Mid-American Conference) dropped a 3-1 decision to Hofstra University (8-2) on Friday night at the Conference Challenge at Kentucky.

The Chippewas lost by scores of 15-13, 9-15, 7-15 and 7-15. Junior Jennifer Mitchell (Lake Odessa) led the Chippewas with 24 kills and five total blocks (three solo) while Tennille Hileski (Allegan/Sr.) had 15 kills and Jenny Young (Plymouth/Fr.) had 11 kills. Setter Jessica Rocho (Honolulu, HI/Jr.) had 60 assists and a team-best 16 digs.

CMU takes on Kentucky and Southeast Missouri State on Saturday at the Conference Challenge.
