David Webber Picks Up Another Honor

MOUNT PLEASANT--Central Michigan University men's basketball player David Webber (Farmington Hills/So.) was named to the Basketball Coaches Association of Michigan (BCAM) Academic/Athletic Honor Team.

Webber, who has a 3.25 grade point average with a secondary education major, led the Chippewas with 19.2 points a game and 67 three-point field goals. Webber scored 51 points against Ball State on Feb. 24 to set the Rose Arena scoring record.

Joining Webber on the honor team were Mike Brown of Siena Heights, Tim Czarnecki of Albion, Ross Willick of Aquinas and Aaron Winkle of Calvin.
