Women's Soccer Wins In OT

MOUNT PLEASANT--The Central Michigan University women's soccer team posted a 3-2 double overtime win over Wright State University on Sunday afternoon in the Chippewa Fall Classic.
Laura Fedrigo (Livonia/Sr.) scored the game winner on a one-on-one breakaway at 109:12. The win improves CMU's record to 2-4 on the year.
Freshman Jamie Tekotte (Fairview, Penn.) put the Chippewas on the board first with her second goal of the year at 52:37. Wright State tied it at 1-1 at 53:04 with a goal from Sandy Baker but CMU took a 2-1 lead on a penalty kick by Allison Campbell (Livonia/Jr.) at 54:16.
Wright State's Kristin Blackwell scored at 81:10 to knot the score at 2-2.
Laura Fedrigo, Anne Fedrigo (Livonia/Jr.) and Tekotte all were named to the all-tournament team.
In Sunday's other game, Wisconsin-Milwaukee blanked Western Michigan by a 3-0 count. Lindsey Munkwitz, Danielle Alberg and Lisa Bengtsson all scored for the Panthers.
