Women's Soccer Falls To Oakland

ROCHESTER--The Central Michigan University women's soccer team (2-6 overall, 0-1 Mid-American Conference) dropped its second straight game with a 1-0 loss to Oakland University on Sunday afternoon.
The only score of the game came from the foot of Jill Gibson of the Golden Grizzlies at 35:40.
Aryn McCumber (Rochester Hills/So.) started in goal for the Chippewas and made one save while allowing one goal. Beth Quiney (Milford/Jr.) played the second half and was uncontested. The Chippewas had five shots on the day.
CMU travels to Eastern Michigan on Sept. 22 and returns home on Sept. 24 to take on Toledo.
