Women's Soccer Downs Kent State in Overtime, 1-0

MOUNT PLEASANT - The Central Michigan women's soccer team (9-5-1 overall, 8-2 Mid-American) posted its fourth straight win by topping Kent State in overtime on Sunday afternoon, 1-0.
Allison Campbell (Livonia/Sr.) scored at 99:56 to lead the Chippewas to victory. She deflected Kjersten Kuhlman's (St. Louis, Mo./Sr.) pass into the back of the net.
Kari Alexander (Midland/So.) faced eight shots, five of which were on goal. She made five saves to pick up the shutout victory.
CMU returns to action this Friday, Oct. 26, when they host Eastern Michigan. Game time is set for 3 p.m.
