MOUNT PLEASANT -- The Central Michigan's women's soccer team (9-6-1, 8-3 MAC) was shutout on Friday in a game dominated by the weather conditions.
Eastern Michigan's Courtney Sindelar scored at the 89:30 mark with a curving shot that got by CMU goalkeeper, Kari Alexander (Midland/So.). Amanda Kulikowski picked up an assist on the play.
Alexander made five saves for the Chippewas in the loss.
CMU returns to action this Sunday, Oct. 28, when it travels to Ball State to face the Cardinals. The game is set to start 1 p.m.
