Women's Soccer downed by Ball State, 2-1

MUNCIE, Ind. - The Central Michigan women's soccer team (9-7-1 overall, 8-4 Mid-American Conference) finished its MAC regular season play with a loss to Ball State on Sunday, 2-1.
Kjersten Kuhlman (St. Louis, Mo./Sr.) opened the scoring in the sixth minute when she headed in a pass from Allison Campbell (Livonia/Sr.). It gave CMU the 1-0 lead. Ball State tied it in the 29th minute when Kate Nadalin scored to make it 1-1. The Cardinals took the lead for good in the 55th minute with a goal from Michelle Dineen.
CMU returns to action this Tuesday, Oct. 30, when it hosts IUPU-Fort Wayne at the CMU soccer field. The game is set to start at 2 p.m.
