Kisner Selected In NBDL Draft

SUWANEE, Ga. -- Former Central Michigan point guard Tim Kisner was selected in the 10th round of the National Basketball Developmental League Draft on Thursday, Nov. 1. The NBDL is the newly created minor league of the National Basketball Association.
Kisner was picked 73rd by the Fayetteville Patriots.
Kisner became the first CMU player to record 1,000 points and 400 assists in his career. He ranks third in CMU history in career three-pointers made (154) and fourth in career assists (434) and steals (143). The four-year starter was instrumental as a team captain in the Chippewas' 2001 MAC championship season.
The NBDL draft had 12 rounds. Other teams in the eight-team league include the Huntsville Flight, Greenville Groove, Columbus Riverdragons, Asheville Altitude, North Charleston Lowgators, Mobile Revelers and Roanoke Dazzle.
