Webber Named MAC West Division Player Of The Week

MOUNT PLEASANT -- Central Michigan guard David Webber was named Mid-American Conference West Division Player of the Week for the first week of the season.

Bowling Green's Keith McLeod was the East Division choice.

Webber scored a game-high 26 points in CMU's season-opening win over Tri-State. He also had five rebounds and five assists. It marked Webber's 11th game of 25-plus points and put him 13 points away from tying former NBA all-star Dan Roundfield for sixth place on CMU's career scoring chart.
