Kaman Makes NBA Debut

SAITAMA, Japan -- Chris Kaman's NBA career began on the other side of the world in Saitama, Japan, on Thursday as the Los Angeles Clippers fell to the Seattle SuperSonics, 109-100.

Kaman, the sixth selection in the 2003 NBA draft by the Clippers, scored two points and grabbed two rebounds while notching an assist in six minutes of action.

The Clippers and SuperSonics are playing a two-game series in Japan as part of the NBA Japan Games. The two teams will meet again on Friday.
