Clippers Sign Kaman

LOS ANGELES (AP) - The Los Angeles Clippers signed first-round draft pick Chris Kaman to a contract Saturday.
Kaman, a 7-footer from Central Michigan selected sixth overall last month, will receive about $6.46 million for three years under the terms of the NBA's rookie salary scale.
The team has an option for a fourth season.
Kaman averaged 22.4 points, 12 rebounds and 3.2 blocks last season as a junior. He was the Mid-American Conference's player of the year.
