Toledo Drops Soccer, 2-0

TOLEDO, Ohio -- The Central Michigan University soccer team dropped a 2-0 decision on the road to the Toledo Rockets on Sunday afternoon.
The Chippewas slip to 1-2-2 overall and 0-1-1 in Mid-American Conference play. With the win, Toledo improves to 2-4-0 for the season and owns a 1-1-0 mark in MAC action.
The Rockets first got on the board with penalty kick by Robin Davidson at 20:01 and later got the insurance goal on Ashley Gerwin's tally at 59:53.
Anne Decker made her first career start in net and made three saves on five shots. Toledo's Molly Patterson got the shutout win, making four saves for the afternoon.
The Chippewas will host their home games of the season next weekend. First on the docket is Buffalo on Friday, September 19. That match will begin at 4 p.m. Weekend action continues at the CMU Soccer Field when Kent State comes to town on Sunday, September 21. Match time begins at 1 p.m.
