MOUNT PLEASANT - Omar Jacobs tied a Kelly/Shorts Stadium record with four touchdown passes in leading Bowling Green State University to a 38-14 win over Central Michigan University here Saturday afternoon in Mid-American Conference football.
Jacobs, a 6-4, 224-pound sophomore, completed 31-of-42 passes for 387 yards. Three of his TD passes went to Steve Sanders.
The win upped BG's record to 3-2 for the season and 1-1 in MAC action. The Chippewas are now 2-3 overall and 1-1 in league play.

However, BG finished with 510 yards, adding 123 on the ground behind Jacobs' 75 on 11 carries.

The Falcons answered with a pair of TD passes from Jacobs to Sanders to move into a 21-7 halftime lead.
