Thursday's MAC Tournament Game vs. Ball State Suspended

KENT, Ohio - Thursday's Mid-American Conference Tournament baseball game between Central Michigan University and Ball State University has been suspended due to to severe weather. The Cardinals were leading, 12-5, with one out in the top of the ninth when play was suspended.
The game is slated to resume at 10 a.m. on Friday.
Ball State scored three runs in the fourth, three in the sixth and six in the seventh to rally from an early 3-0 CMU lead. When the game resumes on Friday morning, Troy Moratti will be at the plate with nobody on base. Brian Campbell led off the ninth with a double, moved to third on wild pitch and scored on J.T. Jones' sacrifice fly before lightning moved into the area.
The winner of the suspended game will remain on the field to face Kent State. The loser will meet Miami in an elimination game at approximately 1 p.m. The winner of the elimination game will remain on the field for a second elimination game at approximately 4 p.m.
