Eight Men's Basketball Games to be Televised

MOUNT PLEASANT -- Half of Central Michigan University’s 16-game Mid-American Conference schedule will be televised this season.
The Chippewas begin MAC play this Saturday, Jan. 6, at Eastern Michigan. The league has dropped from an 18-game ledger down to 16 games this season.
Three of the contests will be televised by Comcast Local while the remaining five will air on the Central Michigan University Public Broadcasting Network.
Comcast Local reaches approximately two million homes in Michigan and Indiana. Six stations comprise the CMU PBS Network which covers the top half of the Lower Peninsula while reaching into the Upper Peninsula. Stations on the network include WCMU-Channel 14, Mount Pleasant; WCML-Channel 6, Alpena; WCMV-Channel 27, Cadillac; WCMW-Channel 21, Manistee; W46AD-Channel 46, Traverse City; and W69AV-Channel 69, Leland.
