Ticket Information for MAC Volleyball Tournament

MOUNT PLEASANT Fans of the Central Michigan University volleyball team can begin to make their plans to follow the Chippewas in the upcoming MAC Volleyball Tournament, which begins next week. First round matches will be held on campus sites before the tournament shifts to the SeaGate Arena in Toledo, Ohio for the quarterfinals, semifinals and finals.
CMU is guaranteed to either host a first round match or receive a bye into the quarterfinals. The Chippewas need to win their final two matches this weekend against Eastern Michigan and No. 16 Ohio and have a loss by Western Michigan in one of its final two matches to give CMU the West Division title and a direct ticket to Toledo.
Should CMU host a first round match, it would be against a to-be-determined opponent in Rose Arena on Tuesday, Nov. 13, at 7 p.m. Tickets for the match will be $5 for adults and $4 for youth and seniors. CMU students with a valid student I.D. will also be charged $4 for admission to the MAC Tournament match. For more information or to order by phone, contact the CMU Ticket Office at 1-888-FIREUP2.
The remainder of the tournament will take place at the SeaGate Arena over the weekend of November 16-18. The quarterfinal matches will be played in two sessions on Friday, Nov. 16, with session one featuring matches at 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. and session two playing at 5 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. The semifinal matches are set for 5 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 17, with the championship match at 1 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 18.
Tickets for the matches at SeaGate Arena are available in individual sessions or as an all-tournament pass. Individual sessions are $10 each for adults and $6 for students, while an all-tournament pass is $25 for adults and $15 for students. Seeding for all 12 teams will be finalized after the conclusion of regular season action this Saturday, Nov. 10. The complete MAC Tournament bracket will be available at that time.
