MOUNT PLEASANT -- The Central Michigan University men's basketball team (10-12, 5-5 Mid-American) hosts Mid-American Conference-leading Kent State (19-5, 8-2 Mid-American) on Tuesday, Feb. 12. Tipoff in Rose Arena is set for 7 p.m., and the game will be televised live on the CMU PBS Network.
The Chippewas have won six straight at home in Rose Arena. The Golden Flashes enter the contest ranked No. 9 in the collegeinsider.com Mid-Major Poll. CMU knocked off then No. 5 ranked and MAC-co-leading Akron in Rose Arena five games ago.
The MAC champion CMU football team will be recognized at halftime for its accomplishments this fall.
