MAC Tournament Tickets Available; Social Activities Planned

MOUNT PLEASANT -- March Madness is here and the Central Michigan University Chippewas are heading to Cleveland, Ohio for the 2008 Mid-American Conference basketball tournaments. Following is ticket information and a list of social activities planned for CMU's men's and women's games the week of March 10-16.
Tickets
Tickets can be purchased by calling the Ticket Office at 1-888-FIREUP2 or on site by visiting CMU’s Ticket Table in Quicken Loans Arena. CMU’s table will be set up outside Quicken Loans Arena’s Main Ticket Office. This is also where Will Call tickets can be picked up. The table will be open 1 hour prior to each session in which CMU plays and will remain open throughout the session. After a CMU win, tickets for the Chippewas' next game will be available in the “MAC Winner’s Circle” located inside the Quicken Loans Arena turnstiles directly in front of CAVS town.
The Quicken Loans Arena’s Main Ticket Office is located in the Arena Arcade at the corner of Huron and East 6th Street.
Please allow for extra time for entry into the facility as all bags will be checked by security.
Tickets in the Central Michigan University section are available through the CMU Athletics Ticket Office in Rose Center or by calling 1-888-FIRE-UP2. Tickets may also be purchased online at cmuchippewas.com. The tickets are $10 for the women's games. Men's tickets for first round and quarterfinal games are available at a discounted rate of $20 and $15 for CMU students with valid ID. Purchases can also be made online at cmuchippewas.com

Social Activities for CMU Fans and Alumni
***All events are tentatively scheduled and are dependent on CMU’s participation in the corresponding round of the tournament.

CMU fans are encouraged to gather at The Winking Lizard - unofficial pre and postgame gathering spot.

Men’s Tournament
Wednesday
The MAC Madness Tournament Headquarters event will take place at the Cleveland Renaissance Hotel’s Ambassador Ballroom. All MAC alumni are welcome to come enjoy a relaxing atmosphere before and after tournament games. MAC alumni can gather and show support for their teams from noon until midnight while enjoying food and drinks, performances by MAC bands and spirit groups, and tournament broadcasts from other conferences!
Event is free for all MAC Alumni - No RSVP required
Thursday

Pregame Social at Quicken Loans Arena one and a half hours prior to tip-off
Cost is $10 per person and includes: social atmosphere with CMU fans and athletic staff members, appetizers, cash bar.
