The team’s annual Alumni Golf Outing will also be held that same weekend, Aug. 16, at Riverwood Resort and Golf Course.

The 1987 and 1988 Mid-American Conference Championship squads were both led by six-time MAC Head Coach of the Year Dean Kreiner, putting together 40-15 and 47-15 records, respectively. Both teams advanced to the NCAA Tournament, with the ’87 squad defeating East Carolina before Georgia Southern ended the Chippewas run. The ’88 team picked up wins over UNLV and Evansville but fell twice to Pepperdine, eliminating CMU from the tournament.
