Brandon Ford’s third game starting, his last start was February 7 against Bowling Green.
CMU started the game on a 9-2 run, capped off with a dunk by Antonio Weary.
With the start Robbie Harman has started in all 25 games this season with CMU.
Robbie Harman passed J.R. Wallace for 10th on CMU’s single season three-point chart with his 61st three-point basket made this season.
Robbie Harman made three three-pointers to stretch his streak to eight straight games with a made three-point basket.
Marcus Van led the Chippewas in scoring with 16 points after going scoreless in the first half.
With 0:54 remaining in the game an intentional foul was called on Fairleigh Dickinson as Marcus Van went up for a dunk. Van was slow to get up but remained in the game.
Four Chippewas finished in double digits: Robbie Harman (13), Marcus Van (16), Jordan Bitzer (14) and Jacolby Hardiman (10).
The Chippewas have held nine straight opponents under 70 points, going 5-4 over the stretch.
In ESPNU BracketBusters competition the Chippewas are 4-0 at home, 4-2 overall.
The Chippewa bench outscored Fairleigh Dickinson’s 20-9, only the fifth time CMU’s bench outscored its opponent.
CMU’s bench combined for 20 points, its third-highest point production of the season.
