Seeds Set for 2011 Mid-American Conference Tournament

MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. - Central Michigan has earned the sixth seed in the upcoming Mid-American Conference Tournament and will square off against No. 3 seed Western Michigan at 1:30 p.m. at the SPIRE Institute on Friday Nov. 18.
The Northern Illinois Huskies earned the tournament's No. 1 seed, defeating Western Michigan Friday and Bowling Green on Saturday. They will face the eighth seed, Bowling Green, Friday at 4:30 p.m.
No. 2 Ohio will host No. 7 Miami at 7 p.m., with the winner advancing to play the winner of the CMU vs. WMU match. Ball State claimed the No. 4 seed and will face Eastern Michigan at 11 a.m. on Friday.
The semifinal matches will be at 2:30 p.m. and 5 p.m. on Saturday, with the championship match to follow at 1 p.m. on Sunday. Sunday's game will also be carried on SportsTime Ohio.
