CMU Featured Twice on SportsCenter's Top 10 Plays

MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. - Not once, but twice, was Central Michigan featured in SportsCenter's Top Plays last night following its 66-60 victory over Eastern Michigan.
The No. 7 play of the night was a left-handed dunk by Antonio Weary just six minutes into the game that sparked a 10-3 Chippewas run over the next 10 minutes.
Not to be outdone, No. 3 on the list took viewers back to Mount Pleasant late in the first half. Will McClure got in the way of an Eagles' jump shot, blocking it off the backboard and sending it right into the hands of point guard John Morris . Morris pushed the ball up-court and found Trey Zeigler breaking on the left baseline for an alley-oop. The play capped an 8-0 run that gave the Chippewas their largest lead of the game.
The game also featured monster dunks by Andre Coimbra and Derek Jackson , on another alley-oop assist by Morris.
The Chippewas have won six of their last seven home games, including three straight.
