• Andre Coimbra tallied a career-high four steals and he tied a season high with eight rebounds.
• Freshman walk-on Auston Barnes earned his first career start. He is the ninth different Chippewa to start a game this season.
• Derek Jackson now needs just 10 steals to join CMU's single-season top 10 list.
• Tonight marked the halfway point of the 16-game MAC season for the Chippewas.
• Derek Jackson followed his career-high 21-point effort against Akron with a season-low two points. He was 1-for-11 from the floor.
• McBroom drained four 3-pointers in the game. He has hit four treys in each of the last two games and is averging 2.75 3-pointers per MAC game.
• In the past three games the Chippewas are averaging 17.7 second-chance points per game compared to the opponent's 9.7.
• Kent State has now won 11 straight in the series and 18 of the last 19. The Golden Flashes have won 27 straight games against MAC West Division opponents.
